As a scout in Troop 55, I have loved the many fun activities we have done! In the summer of 2022, 8 of the older scouts went to Philmont Scout Ranch, on a 10-day, 85-mile backpacking trip! The experience was absolutely incredible, and the lessons and skills I learned there will stay with me forever.

One of my favorite campout memories was from a regular Harriman campout. Not many people showed up and originally we didn't have anything planned. However soon some scouts devised a plan to make a shelter that we would sleep in. Originally I thought it would be too difficult to get done in one day but that night I ended up sleeping in our newly built shelter. Though it wasn't the best or most comf
